Winter Break Closure (2025)

Harvey Mudd College is closed for winter break from 3pm on Friday, December 19 until 8am on Monday, January 5, Pacific Standard Time (PST). The Office of Admission will not be processing application materials during winter break, so your checklist may not reflect the school materials and letters of recommendation we receive during this time.

If your application doesn’t complete during winter break, please don’t panic. There’s plenty of time to complete your application, and this is a normal part of the process. We often receive materials after our application deadline, and this won’t impact your admission decision in any way.

We’ll resume processing application materials as soon as we return on January 5, 2026. If we find that we’re still missing materials for your application after a few days of processing, we promise to reach out with plenty of time to resolve them.
