Visiting Harvey Mudd College

Campus Visits Cancelled Due to COVID-19

Effective Tuesday, March 10th, we will be cancelling all campus visits (tours, information sessions, overnights and interviews).

You can access our online information sessions, office hours, interviews, tours, and more through the link above.

Visiting Harvey Mudd College

Come experience the Harvey Mudd College campus and community firsthand! Use the links on the left to find out more about campus tours, overnights and class visits, and then be sure to make your way to our Harvey Mudd Visit Calendar for event availability and registration.

Getting to Campus by Car

Enter 320 E Foothill Blvd., Claremont, CA into your preferred mapping service. This will guide you to the R. Michael Shanahan Center for Teaching and Learning, the home of the Office of Admission and Financial Aid. (Yes, it is different from our mailing address.)

Getting to Campus by Air

If you are flying to sunny Southern California, we recommended making arrangements to arrive at Ontario International Airport (ONT), located just 10 miles from campus. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately 50 miles west of Claremont.

Getting to Campus by Train

You can travel from Los Angeles to Claremont via the Metrolink, our local commuter rail system. The Metrolink Station is located in the Claremont Village and is a short 20-minute walk from campus.

Our Office and Parking

The Office of Admission and Financial Aid is located in the R. Michael Shanahan Center for Teaching and Learning, more specifically in the northeast corner of the ground level. See the campus map for our location.

Visitor parking is generally available along Foothill Blvd or the north side of Platt Blvd. Upon registration for a campus visit, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a visitor parking permit. This permit allows you to park in the blue and orange zones dotted on this parking map.
