What PE classes have you taken?

“I’ve taken Basketball Skills and Conditioning at CMC – I love playing basketball so it’s lots of fun! I’ve also taken Intro. to Ballroom Dance at Pomona. Learning to dance and getting credit for it was great!”

“Soccer, and it was a really fun time”

“I ran cross country and track for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletics! I love the team culture and being able to compete.”

Why is your dorm the best dorm??

“ATWOOOOOOOOOOD!

Atwood’s suite structure means that in addition to an overall dorm culture, we also have sub-cultures in the different suites. Furthermore, the suite structure provides a natural way to make close friends and gives underclassmen a natural support network of upperclassmen. As an Atwood Frosh, my suitemates did tons to make me feel welcome and supported at Mudd.”

“North is the best since everyone there likes to have a good time”

“dorme culture! i love linde because of the suite style living and the chill vibes. there’s always good music and everyone is extremely welcoming. some of my favorite traditions are chalking the dorme and movie nights in the suites!”

“Atwood is always a great time. They constantly have dorm events and play great music.”

What’s the best place to do homework on campus?

“I currently do most of my work in the Honnold-Mudd Library, the library shared by all five Claremont Colleges. They have quiet study spaces for times when I just need to hunker down and read half a dozen papers, group study spaces for working on projects or taking Zoom meetings, and a couple of treadmill desks where I can try to be less of a couch potato while I grade assignments (I’m grading for a few classes this semester).”

“The best place to do homework on campus is in one of the smaller Shan work rooms! These rooms are a distraction free zone with whiteboards, but not too big to be overwhelming!”

“The Relativistic Rhino Room!”
