HMC Expert: Darryl Wright

Darryl Wright, PhD, specializes in moral and political philosophy and the history of ethics. He has published articles on moral objectivity, early analytic philosophy, and the metaethical views of G.E. Moore, among other topics. He is internationally recognized as a leading authority on the thought of the novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand and has published numerous contributions to the growing body of scholarship on Rand’s fiction and nonfiction works, including a trio of articles on her political philosophy contained in Foundations of a Free Society, volume three of the University of Pittsburgh Press’s Ayn Rand Society Philosophical Studies series.
