Dana Nagengast, SHRM-SCP

Assistant Vice President for Human Resources

  • Provide human resource consultation and support to management, faculty and staff at the College
  • Lead and direct the daily operations of Human Resource services for recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, HRIS/Payroll, policy administration, and professional and organizational development that support the College’s strategic goals
  • Serve as the College’s Affirmative Action Officer and monitor the College’s Affirmative Action Plans
  • Lead human resource initiatives and human resource services for the College
  • Serve as point-of-contact for compensation reporting, analysis and administration, including job descriptions and market research
  • Provide consultation and advice to management, staff and faculty regarding human resources policies and procedures and serves as the primary contact for all employee relations
  • Serves as point of contact for workers’ compensation matters

Patrice Siffert, SHRM-CP

Associate Director for Human Resources 

  • Partner with the AVPHR to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention for staff
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to provide guidance on recruitment, job postings for exempt and non-exempt positions, facilitate onboarding for faculty and staff and process related employment changes for all existing faculty and staff
  • Oversee administration of HR performance management
  • Serve as the liaison with The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) regarding benefit administration, questions and issue resolution for faculty and staff
  • Oversee the annual College service award program and other HR services for the College

Marisela Gonzalez

Assistant Director for Human Resources

  • Partner with the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources to administer and process payroll in collaboration with TCCS Payroll, which includes review of online timecards and approvals, monthly accrual sign-off, and submitting special payments
  • Provide technical support for Workday HRIS and Kronos Time & Attendance and provide related training and support to student employees and other community members
  • Oversee summer research and student employment program and provide support for students and department payroll processors
  • Assist with processing and payment of the College Rideshare program
  • Coordinate leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, and required coordination with TCCS

Pogos Boyadzhyan

HRIS Analyst

  • Partner with the Assistant Vice President for Human Resources and other HR staff to provide the College community support as a Workday HRIS technical point-of-contact
  • Partner with members of the Office of Human Resources and Business Affairs Office to gather, prepare and analyze statistical data to respond to salary and benefit surveys, annual staff salary increase program, and other internal and external reporting. Assist Business and Financial Affairs staff with data collection, review, analysis and reporting as requested
  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for the Office of Human Resources and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Oversee administration of HR compliance training
  • Partner with The Claremont Colleges Services Business Systems Unit regarding enhancements, testing, and processes that may affect other Claremont Colleges

Office Administrator

  • Partner with AVPHR/CHRO on special COVID-related initiatives related to policies, communication and tracking
  • Oversee employee termination processing such as notifications and exit interviews
  • Support HR policy and compliance tracking and related communication
  • Support Staff Pilot Remote Work program monthly attestation and training tracking
  • Provide administrative and annual program support for the Office of Human Resources
  • Manage requests for College-issued purchase cards

Anu Jindal

HR Business Specialist

  • Support the Dependent Scholarship Program administration, coordination, and communication
  • Provide HR business support and analysis for annual business reporting
  • Support hiring processes for student employees and summer research hires
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of Human Resources with employment, such as posting jobs, coordinating job advertisements, candidate interviews, offer letters, and orientation/onboarding
  • Oversee all HR records management and provide other administrative support for HR
  • Provide assistance in processing verification of employment requests for faculty, staff and student employees
