Employee Assistance Program
The Optum Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential service designed to help employees and their household members resolve personal and workplace challenges. Offering round-the-clock access to personal assessment and counseling with licensed/certified therapists at no charge, the EAP keeps all calls, emails, referrals and conversations strictly confidential (as required by law).
The program helps with a variety of issues, such as parenting or relationship problems, financial advice, or legal referrals. The EAP benefit provides up to five counseling sessions per reason, per household member, per year. Alternatively, you may choose to connect with a licensed therapist online – from anywhere, at any time.

- Sessions Permitted: 5 visits per reason, per household member, per year.
