Employee Assistance Program
The Optum Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential service designed to help employees and their household members resolve personal and workplace challenges. Offering round-the-clock access to personal assessment and counseling with licensed/certified therapists at no charge, the EAP keeps all calls, emails, referrals and conversations strictly confidential (as required by law).
The program helps with a variety of issues, such as parenting or relationship problems, financial advice, or legal referrals. Employees and their dependents can receive up to five counseling sessions with a licensed therapist by phone or in person per family member, per issue. Alternatively, you may choose to connect with a licensed therapist online – from anywhere, at any time.
