HotTub has warmed the Writing Center with their presence for several years. Commonly sighted in the Writing Center, atop shelves, and in sweet dreams. A great listener, HotTub enjoys helping students brainstorm ideas for papers.

In his third year at the Writing Center, Lucius remains a consistent drinker of Writing Center tea. He is passionate about Data Science, food, singing in the shower, and all sections of Writ 1. He speaks English, French, and should probably know Creole better than he currently does. Like Sidd Chandra, he strongly believes all vegetables are great vegetables.

Emily has worked at the writing center for 2 years, and particularly enjoys literary analysis papers.  Emily studied abroad in Paris at the Nouvelle-Sorbonne University, where she took French literature courses.  She really likes bell peppers, and in her spare time loves hiking, reading, and baking.

Blake is a junior CS major in his second year as a Writing Center consultant. He most enjoys argumentative essays focusing on philosophy and schools of thought. He knows that the potato is the only candidate for any best vegetable competition. He enjoys nice long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners, and SAFE theses.

This is Natasha’s second year at the writing center. She especially likes consulting on literary analysis papers and papers for film or media studies classes. Natasha loves cats and likes to read poetry, listen to music, and bake in her free time. Her favorite vegetable is asparagus and in her opinion bell peppers are the worst vegetable (in fact they are actually a fruit). Natasha thinks that writing is one of the hardest things and is very #inspired by all of her consultees! Also she is a Virgo.

Djassi Julien is originally from New York City and is passionate about carbs. You can find him in the pasta bar line at every claremont college each week. He also enjoys registering for introductory ballet classes and then claiming that he is the primo ballerino of the Los Angeles and New York Ballets. In his free time, he plays with portrait mode on his iPhone.

Danielle is a sophomore engineering major with a deep passion for space and the environment. Besides writing Danielle enjoys cuddling cats, figuring out how to get more jicama into her diet, and taking naps. A fun fact about her is that she likes to clean her room when she’s avoiding doing work; she has coined the word “procrasti-cleaning” to describe this activity.
