Sponsor Summer of CS
Each summer, Harvey Mudd College’s Computer Science Summer Research Program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in purposeful, faculty-mentored research while building the skills that prepare them for careers in both academia and industry. Demand for the program continues to exceed our capacity—an increasingly urgent challenge amid reduced federal REU funding and fewer internship opportunities across the field.

We invite organizations to support this work by contributing at any level or by exploring opportunities to partner more directly through sponsoring a summer research project. These partnerships offer a meaningful way to engage with emerging talent while supporting students tackling impactful, real-world problems.
If you’re interested in sponsoring a summer research project for 2027, please get in touch with us for more details.
Donations to the Summer of CS program are open at any time of the year. There is no minimum contribution—support at any level makes a difference and helps expand access to these opportunities.
Supporting organizations may be recognized on our program website and invited to engage with students through summer programming such as our CS Chats speaker series, which connects students with professionals across the tech industry.
