U.S.Bank Internet Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Undergraduate students attending an eligible four-year college or university participating in the U.S. Bank Fee Education Loan Program are eligible to apply.
James "Rhio" O'Connor Memorial Scholarship

Award: $5,000
The James "Rhio" O'Connor Memorial Scholarship Fund is open to undergraduate students at colleges and universities in the United States. To be eligible, you must write an essay about what you would do if you faced the same challenges that James "Rhio" O'Connor faced. For example, what steps would you take if you were given a dire cancer prognosis? How would you conduct your research and make an informed decision when choosing a treatment? Would you look beyond chemo, radiation and surgery if they had little to offer? What resources would you use to make an informed decision? Optimist International Sponsors Scholarships

NIH Extramural Loan Repayment Program

NIH wants to encourage outstanding health professionals to pursue careers in biomedical, behavioral, social, and clinical research. If students commit at least two years to conducting qualified research funded by a domestic nonprofit organization or U.S. federal, state, or local government entity, NIH may repay up to $35,000 of qualified student loan debt per year, including most undergraduate, graduate, and medical school loans.
The Ebell/Flint Scholarship

DHS Scholarship

Deadline: January 6 for online application form including essay questions and January 13 for two online reference report forms, an official academic transcript, and a copy of birth certificate.
Awards: $1000 per month for 9 months during the academic year or $5000 for the 10-week summer internship
Who Can Apply: Students must be a US citizen, have a 3.30 or higher cumulative GPA, majoring in a homeland security science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Students who have been attending college fulltime must be in their second year of college attendance by application deadline. ROTC Scholarships
Through ROTC, you can earn a commission in the military while obtaining a degree from HMC. Scholarships are also available for students in some programs.ROTC programs offered at HMC include:
U.S. Air Force ROTC (AFROTC): Through an agreement with the University of Southern California, students may participate in AFROTC while enrolled at HMC. HMC has been designated as the host college for The Claremont Colleges and neighboring institutions. The Dolores Zohrab Liebmann Fellowship

Awards: Cover actual tuition costs plus an $18,000 annual stipend to be allocated towards, room, board, living expenses, and income taxes.
Who Can Apply: Available to students pursuing or intending to pursue a graduate degree at a designated institution of higher learning located in the United States of America. The program of study being pursued by the candidate may include any recognized field of study in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences. The candidate must have received a baccalaureate degree at the time of fellowship would commence, demonstrate a need for financial assistance, must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing graduate studies in the US, must be a citizen of the US, and may be of any national descent or background.
Journalism Internships
Deadline: Apply for a spring placement by November 15 and for a summer placement by January 31
Sharpen your writing skills and work with experienced journalists. The IHS Journalism Internship Program offers paid internships in print, broadcast, and investigative journalism. Placements are available at newspapers, media networks, and state-policy organizations and take place during the fall, spring and summer. The program includes a weeklong career workshop and mentoring.
Production Internships
Deadline: Placements are available during the fall, spring and summer. Apply for a spring placement by November 15 and for a summer placement by February 15.
Discover the best production techniques. The IHS Production Internship Program offers paid internships at production companies making films, documentaries, online video programs, and more. The program includes a weeklong IHS workshop featuring talks by filmmakers and policy analysts. Applicants at all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Public Policy Internships
Deadline: Apply by January 31
Learn about and influence public policy. The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program combines a paid public policy internship at a think tank or nonprofit with two weeklong career skills seminars and weekly policy lectures. Internships are available at more than 70 think tanks and nonprofits involved with state or federal policy located across the United States.
