Dessertfest is back, baby!

After a lamentable pandemic-induced two-year hiatus, the Physics Department tradition of plying students with home-baked delectables resumed on March 22. A semi-infinite number of hungry students partook of Brownie-an Motion brownies, “very, very, very solid carrot cake,” luscious lemon bars, very berry pies, salted caramel cookies, and gobs more concoctions of sugar, flour, and fat, braving brutally cold and rainy weather (okay, so it was maybe 85°F and sunny), and waiting patiently in line to ruin their appetite for dinner  — and there was much rejoicing! Many thanks to Nicholas Breznay for organizing, to the staff and faculty in the department for preparing the mouth-watering assortment of goodies.
