The Office of Community Engagement works collectively with our campus and the broader community to educate and empower one another to make meaningful contributions to society. This is achieved by facilitating dialogue, sharing expertise and building capacity.
The Office of Community Engagement will work closely with our Harvey Mudd community to achieve the following student learning outcomes. Students will:
- recognize the role your STEM skills have in addressing societal issues.
- engage with community members to co-create empowering solutions to address societal issues.
- apply communication, facilitation, and project management skills to lead others toward goals, adjusting strategy as necessary.
- reflect across worldviews and incorporate multiple, and even conflicting perspectives into discussions and decision making.
