I’ve been mentoring two research scientists (pic shows Alex Turpin, Chris Rumple, and me) on commercializing their at-sea stabilized radar platform for offshore wind energy monitoring for birds and bats under the Dept of Energy I-Corps program. They have to conduct 75 interviews with stakeholders over 10 weeks. It gives me a chance to share my insights and experience as an entrepreneur for two startups. Lots of fun!
On the home front, Melody and I moved into a new home in Newport Oregon that has its own solar panel and high speed charger for our Audi eTron. And a great ocean view!
