I am still working part-time for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. I submitted a monograph for publication based on UC Berkeley Physics Professor Allan Kaufman’s Lectures on Statistical Mechanics, which I transcribed and edited (with co-editor Alain J. Brizard), available for free download on arxiv.org Our daughter turned 40 this year (OMG!) and is a doctor at the San Francisco VA Hospital.

Submitted notes will also be reviewed for publication in Mudd Magazine (fall/winter–January or spring/summer–August) and in academic department e-newsletters, and are subject to editing, including for grammar and space availability. If submitting a photo, high-resolution (file size at least 1 MB) is best so that it reproduces well in the print magazine.
