Belinda Shreckengost at JPL after Receiving the NASA Exceptional Public Achievement Medal

Belinda Shreckengost was awarded the NASA Exceptional Public Achievement medal for team leadership, technical guidance, and delivery of the Mechanical and Thermal Subsystem for the Roman Coronagraph Instrument, which will support exoplanet imaging on the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. The Coronagraph was delivered from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and has since been integrated into Roman with launch scheduled as early as September 2026.
