2024–2025 Innovation Accelerator Proposals
In the inaugural 2024–2025 Innovation Accelerator, collaborative teams of faculty and staff submitted 21 proposals; the College selected six proposals to advance to the Spring 2025 Innovation Showcase. The six teams presented their projects to the community and external at the College’s first Innovation Showcase on April 4, 2025. Ultimately, three projects were selected to become Innovation Accelerator Laboratories and develop their projects further.

Proposal Process and Timeline
Proposals were reviewed and chosen for funding in a multi-round process. Visit the timeline for submissions and reviews for more information.
Future Work
In 2025–2026, the selected teams are continuing with the work described in their proposal as Innovation Accelerator Laboratories, with progress reports to be submitted to the Cabinet at the end of each semester. We expect to repeat this request for proposals process in future years, and ultimately aspire to realize the Innovation Accelerator as a long-term center of excellence to cultivate forward thinking possibilities for Harvey Mudd.
