At Harvey Mudd College, we believe that families are essential partners in our mission to provide a transformative STEM education.

The Family Partners Circle (FPC) is a dedicated community of leadership-level supporters who go beyond the standard parent experience. By combining strategic philanthropy with meaningful engagement, FPC members provide the critical resources that allow our students to innovate, lead and solve the world’s most complex challenges.

Gifts to the Family Partners Circle support the Annual Fund and provide flexible revenue for the greatest needs of the College, including student financial aid and academic department operations.

Choose Your Level of Impact:

Ambassador ($1,500+ annually)

As an Ambassador, you serve as a vital bridge between the College and our global family community. Your leadership gift provides the foundational support necessary for student life and academic excellence.

Engagement: Welcome new families into the Mudd community, serve as a regional resource and share your experiences.
Recognition: Listing on the Family Partners Circle website and an invitation to our in-person Family Weekend dinner meeting.

Visionary ($5,000+ annually)

Visionaries provide the fuel for long-term institutional growth. This tier is designed for families who wish to deepen their connection to the College’s strategic future and mentor the next generation of Mudders.

Engagement: All Ambassador level, plus opportunities for career support and outreach to prospective families.
Recognition: VIP seating at Commencement and an invitation to an “Insiders” virtual town hall with campus leadership to discuss the state of the College.

Champion ($10,000+ annually)

Champions are our most dedicated philanthropic partners, providing the high-level support that drives Harvey Mudd’s most ambitious initiatives.

Engagement: All Visionary level, plus the opportunity to serve on advisory committees and task forces that shape the future of the College.
Recognition: Private leadership lounge during Family Weekend, invitations to select Presidential and campaign events, and an exclusive Commencement brunch.

As your student moves into their junior and senior years, your perspective as a parent becomes invaluable. At this stage, Circle members often deepen their involvement by mentoring students, hosting regional events, or advising on college initiatives. Your philanthropy at this level shifts toward sustaining the long-term excellence of the departments and programs that have defined your student’s education.

The relationship doesn’t end at Commencement. Our “Legacy” partners continue to champion Harvey Mudd as parents of alumni.
