Admission to Upward Bound
Who is eligible for the program?
Almost all students in 9th-, 10th- and 11th-graders from Bassett High School (La Puente), Garey High School (Pomona), El Monte High School, Mountain View High School (El Monte) and South El Monte High School are eligible to apply to the Harvey Mudd College Upward Bound Program. We select students from low-income families and/or those who are potential first-generation college-bound students (meaning their parents did not earn a bachelor’s degree in the United States) with an academic need for the program.
