Natasha Floerke

Hi! I’m Natasha. I’m a junior Mathematical and Computational Biology major from Weaverville, CA (the “real” NorCal). At home I have two younger sisters, two cats, a dog, and ten-ish chickens. I’m a tour guide here at HMC, and I also work in the Writing Center, which is one of the best places on campus! I’m living in Drinkward this year but I am very strongly connected to West. I will also be a PAL (Peer Academic Liaison) for Drinkward this year! I love cats, nature, and baking cookies.

Lydia Sylla

Hi! I’m Lydia. I’m a junior and I’m majoring in engineering. I’m originally from Portsmouth, NH and have one younger sister, one younger brother, and a cat. In my “free time” (time extracted from a very busy class schedule here at Mudd) I play on the ultimate frisbee team, moderate Humans vs. Zombies, and hang out in my dorm, East, where I will be a PAL (Peer Academic Liaison) this year. Other interests of mine include trying (and often failing) to bake needlessly fiddly desserts (the Great British Bake Off is one of my favorite TV shows) and reading. My favorite books at the moment include pretty much anything by Brandon Sanderson though I’m trying to branch out from just reading fantasy and sci fi. I also really like board games and puzzles!

We are so excited to welcome the incoming class to Mudd and are looking forward to Orientation!! Feel free to email us with any questions you have!
