EQS Integrity Line

EQS Integrity Line is a whistleblower service that allows faculty and staff to anonymously, if desired, submit questions and complaints specifically about accounting and audit matters, fraud, embezzlement, misappropriation of College funds or assets, financial irregularities, internal controls, and other financial misconduct. It should not be used for general workplace complaints, personnel matters, academic concerns, student-related matters, or other issues that are addressed through separate College policies and procedures.

The system is easy to use: you may submit a report via Integrity Line or by calling 1.800.461.9330. Telephone calls are answered by live call center agents available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. EQS Integrity Line reports are instantly forwarded to individuals designated by the College for review and response. If the report involves a person who is one of the individuals designated by the College, the system will block submission of that report to that individual. The other individuals will receive and respond to that report.

Following submission, you will be able to check the status of the concern on the Integrity Line webpage. When you create an Inbox, you will be given a Case ID, and you will choose a password. You can use the Case ID and password to log in to the Inbox in order to see if you have received any questions. All communication with us is anonymous if you wish it to be. If you forget one of your credentials (Case ID or password), you will need to submit a new report. For security reasons and protection of your anonymity, we cannot recover them.

Concerns involving personnel matters, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, workplace conduct, or other Human Resources-related issues should not be reported through EQS Integrity Line, rather they should be directed to Human Resources by emailing Dana Nagengast at dnagengast@hmc.edu or Haley Phillips at hphillips@hmc.edu. Other non-financial concerns should be raised through the appropriate College channels, including discussions with your supervisor, Human Resources, or the appropriate College administrator or officer.

Complaints received that are unrelated to accounting and audit matters, fraud, embezzlement, misappropriation of College funds or assets, financial irregularities, internal controls, and other financial misconduct, will not receive a response through the EQS Integrity Line system.
