How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd?
FAST gave me a glimpse of what life at Mudd could be like. After visiting more than 10 other colleges I got into, there was nothing quite like Mudd for me. FAST was the best memory I have of this crazy process called “College Application”.
What is your favorite memory of attending FAST?
My favorite memory were Mudders. The students I stayed with were so welcoming and caring. Aside from showing me all the ropes of college life, they even took me out to dinner one night. They made me feel like I had finally found my new STEM minded family.

How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd?
FAST is actually when I decided that I wanted to apply to Mudd in the Early Decision I round of applications. I fell in love with the school and the people after getting an in-person feel for the campus. My experience in FAST is what distinguished Mudd as my top choice.
What is your favorite memory of attending FAST?
It’s hard to choose but I think my favorite memory actually comes from the night that one of the dorms had a bonfire. All of the FAST kids were invited, and all of the students talked to us and made sure we felt included. After that night of laughing and talking, I realized that I felt like I belonged on Mudd’s campus.

How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd?
Being from New York, that first FAST email was the only way in which I would have found out about Mudd. Without FAST, I probably still wouldn’t know Mudd existed.
What is your favorite memory of attending FAST?
I remember meeting Prof. Clark for the first time and hearing him talk about [autonomous] robots and tracking sharks in the Mediterranean. I can’t quite put my finger on why, but his energy was incredibly alluring.

How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd?
FAST completely changed my outlook on Harvey Mudd. I really loved how open and approachable the staff and the students were during my stay there. Being able to experience the everyday life at Mudd really made me feel at home and being from Texas, this feeling really influenced me to come to study at HMC.
What is your favorite memory of attending FAST?
My favorite memory of FAST was getting to explore the HMC campus as well as the 5Cs and the Village and see how much of a fun environment they all are.

How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd?
Harvey Mudd was a top choice for me before attending FAST. I’m still very glad I got to participate in the program because it confirmed that Mudd was the place for me!
What is your favorite memory of attending FAST?
My favorite memory was definitely getting to know the current and prospective students because for the first time, I was able to see what it was like to be surrounded by students all interested not only in STEM, but in a challenging yet collaborative environment.

How much did attending FAST impact your decision to come to Harvey Mudd?
FAST had a very significant impact on my decision to come to Harvey Mudd. I loved meeting the other prospective students and the current students and I felt that I fit in with them easily. I fell in love with Harvey Mudd during FAST and I enjoyed every minute of the program.
What is your favorite memory of attending FAST?
My favorite memory from FAST is when a group of us walked down to the Claremont Village at night and went to the ice cream shop 21 Choices. It was really fun to spend time with everyone and explore the city, plus the ice cream was amazing.
