Need Help While on Campus?

An admission officer will be located at the help desk near the Café in the Shanahan Center for Teaching and Learning (see the map in your program). Feel free to ask our team for directions or questions!

Financial Aid Appointments

Dietary Restrictions and Meals

  • Lunch will take place in Strauss Plaza (see the map in your program).
  • All tables will have vegetarian options. If you requested a vegan, gluten free, or have specific food allergies, head to the designated allergy table for your meal (follow the signs). We ask that our other guests save the aforementioned meals for those who requested them.
  • The Hoch-Shanahan Dining Commons will be available for dinner from 5:30 to 7pm. With a high number of guests, and our current students also trying to enjoy dinner, we highly recommend visiting the Downtown Claremont area that has an assortment of restaurants. We hope you’ll take this time to enjoy all that the city of Claremont has to offer!
  • We will have food throughout the event properly labeled, but if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask any Dining Services or Admission staff.

Cafe and Merch Tent Hours

The HMC Cafe will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Admitted Student Program. The HMC Merch Tent will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well. HMC is a cashless campus, so we recommend preparing in advance if you’re hoping to purchase any clothing or additional snacks at the Cafe or Merch Tent.

Contact and Emergency Information

  • Please wear your name badge at all times.
  • To report a campus emergency, call Campus Safety at 909.607.2000.
  • For all non-emergency calls, call Campus Safety at 909.621.8170.

Program Evaluation

We will be sending you a survey after the program, and we hope that you will share your feedback about your ASP experience with us.

Finally, to put your visit in context, please note that we have over 600 guests visiting campus. ASP brings over two full HMC classes’ worth of people to our campus, and we hope you’ll bear with us if you experience some lines and crowding.
