Harvey Mudd College received top rankings for career placement and return on investment in The Princeton Review’s Best Value Colleges 2022.

This year’s Best Value Colleges publication profiles 201 selected colleges and universities in an unranked collection but includes seven categories of ranked lists. Harvey Mudd appeared in four of the seven categories.

The College was ranked No. 6 on the “Top 50 Best Value Colleges (Private)” list, which is based on The Princeton Review’s return on investment rating.

Harvey Mudd ranked No. 2 on the “Top 20 Best Career Placement (Private)” list. The College has held the first or second spot for career placement for more than five years.

Harvey Mudd ranked No. 15 for “Top 20 Best Schools for Internships (Private).”

Harvey Mudd’s Office of Career Services (OCS) assists students in every stage of career development, from selecting a major and searching for jobs and internships to exploring careers and researching graduate schools. The office organizes well-attended fall and spring career fairs, which connect students with more than 150 prospective employers per year, allowing them to forge relationships with industry participants and to secure jobs and internships. OCS also offers many programs to help prepare students for life after Harvey Mudd, including networking workshops, mock interview training and a variety of career information sessions featuring alumni and non-alumni recruiters.

In addition to placing in the “Top 50 Best Value Colleges,” “Best Career Placement” and “Best Schools for Internships” lists, Harvey Mudd ranked No. 3 for “Top 20 Best Value Private Colleges for Students With No Demonstrated Need.” Harvey Mudd meets 100% of demonstrated financial need for all students, and 75% of students receive need-based or merit awards, or a combination.
