Harvey Mudd College alumni earn the second highest mid-career salaries of all U.S. college and university graduates pursuing careers with a bachelor’s as a final degree, according to PayScale’s 2015-16 College Salary Report.
Harvey Mudd ranked No. 2 with a median mid-career salary of $133,000, only $1,000 less than the No. 1 ranked SUNY – Maritime College. Previously, Harvey Mudd had taken the top spot for three consecutive years. Coming in third was Harvard University tied with the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis at $126,000, followed by California Institute of Technology (Caltech) at $125,000 and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at $124,000.
PayScale, an online salary information company, defines mid-career salaries as 10 or more years of experience in a field.
Harvey Mudd ranked No. 1 for the fourth year in a row for overall college return on investment in PayScale’s 2015 College ROI Report, a separate report published each spring.
