Chemistry with Emphasis in Environmental Analysis

I am an environmental consultant for the Tennessee Department of the Environment. I review environmental documents from companies to ensure they meet state and federal standards, and report air emissions data to the EPA.

All of my work is STEM-interdisciplinary, but my motivations came from my HSA concentration and emphasis!

Chemistry

I am currently a graduate student at UCI, working to obtain my PhD in atmospheric chemistry.

Studying atmospheric chemistry with Prof. Hawkins during my time at Mudd was what introduced me to the field and showed me how I could use my degree to have a positive impact on the world.

Chemistry and Biology

After Mudd, I chose to continue atmospheric research, but I wanted to add a marine twist so I will be pursuing a PhD through the marine chemistry program at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography (UCSD).

My time at Mudd was profoundly transformative because I was very blessed to find people who nourished me emotionally, intellectually, and professionally – and all of this guidance made my own path forwards became very clear.
