Mosaic Design Labs focuses on the development of biomedical instrumentation for the advancement of cell and molecular biology research, clinical diagnostics and consumer health. The Clinic team evaluated a first prototype of the Microlab, Mosaic Design Lab’s microfluidic perfusion device, by creating testbench hardware, system firmware and pressure control software. By establishing sensor communication and manufacturing test equipment, the team characterized pressure control to tune the device for microfluidic experimentation and developed robust methods for evaluating subsequent prototypes.
