Undesert is developing an industrial-scale thermal desalination system to deliver freshwater with minimal energy use in regions experiencing water scarcity. The Undesert Clinic team designed a scaled-down, portable version of the system’s evaporation chamber for domestic applications. Additionally, the team optimized chamber performance by identifying and evaluating high-performance medium materials and configurations.
