Project Femto is a leader in the ophthalmologic field, specifically with regard to LASIK surgery. The Project Femto Clinic team is developing an ultra-high-speed camera optical system to capture and record the formation and development of cavitation bubbles caused by femtosecond lasers during the LASIK operation. Understanding how laser energy affects cavitation bubble formation will help Project Femto tune laser characteristics to reduce patient recovery time, improving the surgical process.
