The team is investigating various methods of improving the high temperature functionality of a sensitive aerospace sensor. Our goal throughout this process is to ensure the safe and continuous operation of this sensor while in the core of an aircraft engine which operates at 400℃. This year we have focused on upgrading the electrical insulation, magnetic shielding, wire joining, and wire identification. We have identified several possible alternatives in each area and have tested them to verify their efficacy.
