Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) has faced challenges in staffing units, distributing personal protective equipment, and establishing treatment efficacy. Though PVHMC gathers data across all hospital functions, they would like to more efficiently translate this data into actionable insights. To address this challenge, we interviewed key stakeholders to identify data needs, developed an automated process to extract and aggregate data from various sources, and created visualizations to empower stakeholders to make more informed decisions.
