The Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program was established in 1946 as an investment in global peace and American prosperity through educational and cultural exchange. Since then, the Fulbright Program has provided nearly 450,000 students, scholars, scientists, professionals, teachers, scientists, and artists with life-changing opportunities to study, conduct research, and teach in over 160 countries and territories around the world.
The program expands perspectives through academic and professional advancement and cross-cultural dialogue. Fulbright finds solutions to complex global issues and creates connections in a changing world. In partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers unparalleled opportunities to advance knowledge and innovation across all academic disciplines. Awards are given to passionate and accomplished graduating college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals from all backgrounds. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.
