UNITE HERE is a labor union representing 300,000 workers across the United States and Canada. Although the union has extensive experience in labor organizing, it recognizes the potential for improved data infrastructure to strengthen the decision-making processes of labor campaigns. The team aims to expand UNITE HERE’s data-organizing
capabilities through the development of a centralized, accessible data visualization tool that will allow a wide range of users to make data-informed decisions.
