During fall 2024, six teams present their ideas to the HMC community and external stakeholders at the College’s first Innovation Accelerator Showcase. Three projects are selected to receive funding and put their plans into action as Innovation Accelerator Laboratories: Data Science and Social Impact, Emerging Health Technology, and Thriving.

President Nembhard moderates a conversation about entrepreneurship for social good with Mellody Hobson, co-CEO and president of Ariel Investments, and Ajit Singh, partner at Artiman Ventures, as part of the Annenberg Leadership Forum. The panelists discuss ways entrepreneurship can drive meaningful social impact, with a focus on achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Alumni and Family Engagement

The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement partners with alumni and parents to provide programs and resources that cultivate lasting, meaningful relationships with the College and promote a culture of connection, engagement and support.

Financial Review

Harvey Mudd maintained a strong financial position while navigating an ever-changing and complex economic and political environment, including rising costs and new federal regulations. Through our continued partnership with the Claremont Investment Fund, the College’s endowment has reached its highest level to date, reinforcing our ability to deliver positive financial outcomes. This year, the College launched the Innovation Accelerator to advance our strategic plan, STEM for a Better World. Designed to foster bold, collaborative proposals that drive institutional impact, the initiative reflects our commitment to innovation and long-term priorities. As we look ahead, the College remains committed to prudent resource management while investing in initiatives that support academic excellence, innovation and sustainable growth.
