WISTEM Schedule
WISTEM is a two-part program that includes an all-expenses paid fly-in program to visit Harvey Mudd College and an interactive online component.
2024 WISTEM Schedule
WISTEM is a 6-month program designed to strengthen students’ STEM understanding, prepare students for the college process, and help students learn about the experience of women in STEM fields.
WISTEM Residential Component–March 21 to March 23, 2024 and WISTEM Online Component–February to June 2024
The online component of WISTEM will include all of the following:
- Women in STEM webinar series
- College process webinar series
- Engagement with the rest of your WISTEM cohort via Zoom, email, and Discord.
Throughout the six-month program, you will be asked to participate on Discord, schedule a one-on-one meeting to take place over the summer, required to engage with an HMC Admission interview, and other opportunities to connect directly with the Office of Admission.
The webinar schedule can be found below. In order to successfully complete the program, participants are required to attend all sessions.

WISTEM participants will be brought to Harvey Mudd College’s campus March 21–23, 2024 in an all expenses covered trip. Students are expected to arrive to campus no later than 1 p.m. PST on March 21, so students flying from out-of-state should not expect to attend school on this day. The in-person portion of the WISTEM program ends at noon PST on Saturday, March 23 so students must depart campus at this time.
