WISTEM is a two-part program which includes an all expenses paid fly-in program to visit Harvey Mudd College and interactive online component.

2023 WISTEM Schedule

WISTEM is a 6-month program designed to strengthen students STEM understanding, prepare students for the college process, and help students learn about the experience of women in STEM fields.

WISTEM Residential Component – February 19 to February 21 2023

WISTEM Online Component – March 2023 to July 2023

The online component of WISTEM will include all of the following:

• Women in STEM webinar series
• College process webinar series
• Engagement with the rest of your WISTEM cohort via Zoom, email, and Discord.

WISTEM Asynchronous Component – March 2023 to July 2023

Through out the 6-month program, you will be asked to participate on Discord, schedule a one-on-one meeting to take place over the summer, required to engage with an HMC Admission interview, and other opportunities to connect directly with the Office of Admission.

Webinars and assignment schedule can be found below. In order to successfully complete the program, participants are required to attend all sessions and submit all assignments.  Assignments will be reviewed by staff at the HMC Office of Admission.
