Lab for Emerging Health Technology Program
Career Talks, Panels and Networking Events
Students connect with alumni and professionals through on-campus talks, panels and networking sessions. These events highlight diverse career pathways in biomedical engineering and health sciences while building valuable industry and academic relationships.
Mentoring Connections
A growing alumni network in health-related fields provides students with guidance and connections as they explore career options. Faculty and alumni collaborations strengthen mentoring opportunities and expand access to internships and employment.
Summer Internship Program
Internships give students hands-on experience with health-related companies and organizations. Support includes funding, such as housing stipends, to make opportunities in high cost-of-living regions accessible. Interested students can apply through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities portal.
Summer Research Program
Students gain practical research experience through collaborative projects with faculty, industry, and academic partners. Opportunities range from lab-based bioengineering experiments to interdisciplinary research that prepares students for advanced study and careers. Interested students can apply through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities portal.
Faculty Fellowship Program
Faculty play a central role in building partnerships and mentoring students while advancing their own research in biomedical engineering and health sciences. Interested faculty can apply for a Health Technology Fellowship through the Research Committee’s open call for proposals.
Clinic Program
Health technology focused clinics give students cross-disciplinary, hands-on experience in biomedical engineering and health technology industries. These capstones leverage partnerships to solve real-world problems, preparing students for impactful careers.
