About the Conference

The Harvey Mudd College Society of Women Engineers (HMC-SWE) chapter is hosting the 2026 Women Engineers and Scientists of Tomorrow (WEST) Conference, offering young women the opportunity to learn more about careers in STEM fields (with a focus on engineering and computer science). The conference provides attendees with opportunities to engage with each other, professors and current Harvey Mudd students, through a series of workshops, panels and events.

Lunch is included. An optional campus tour will also be offered following the conference. Dress is casual.

Registration Fee & Payment Options

Student Pre-registration (by Feb. 27): $15 per student
Student Registration (After Feb. 27 or at the door): $20 per student
Parent Registration: $10 per parent (if attending lunch)

We are accepting registration fee payments online or at the door!

For online payments, please either (1) Venmo @ayushik617(2) PayPal ayushikashyap27@gmail.com, or (3) Zelle (510) 857-7735. and write "2026 WEST Conference" and the student's name in the comments section of the payment.

At the door, you can provide your payment. We can't guarantee we'll have change, if needed.

Deadlines & Other Information

We will be sending out a preference form for the workshops to those who fill out the registration form (so please keep an eye out for that).

Also, please note that space is limited for the conference, so make sure to register early if you're interested in attending the conference! Registration will close once the event is filled.
