Malcolm mentored me as a BOG ad then as a Alum trustee. He was a warm supportive man as well as a brilliant politician.

Bruce Worster '64

Friend, college mate, fellow trustee

I have lost a friend and colleague. I valued his friendship, honesty, thoughtfulness, and honesty. Malcolm, you will be missed.

On October 13th we lost an amazing person when we lost Malcolm Lewis. When I think of Malcolm, I think of someone that I have the utmost respect for. I can honestly say I valued every interaction I had with Malcolm. He was always compassionate and very personable no matter how his day was going. Despite his busy schedule I was able count on Malcolm to be generous with his time and wealth of knowledge when I needed his help. I am truly going to miss seeing and chatting with him.

Wayne Drinkward '73

Chair of the board of trustees

I think that the thing I find most compelling about Malcolm was that he is truly a compassionate and caring human being first, and a technologically capable person second. In that, I find him an exemplar of what HMC strives to produce.
