E160 - Autonomous Robot Navigation

Overview

On the Sunday of 5 different weeks, a lab will be assigned. Each lab takes between 1 and 4 weeks to complete. Students must present demonstrate experimental results before the final day of each lab, and hand in a lab write-up by 9:00am, one week after the final day of each lab. Late reports or demos will be reduced in point value by 50% for each 24 hours they are overdue.

Robots

The robot used for this course is the Pololu Romi chassis with a teensy and xbee. The robot was developed by LAIR students Jack Yang, John Lee, and Zayra Lobo. Details of the chassis can be found at Pololu.

All the code for programming in this course is written in python.
