Consent Culture Chat

As part of the ongoing Consent Week initiative (10/27 to 10/31), the Consent Culture Chat was held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Organized by Evelyn Cho and Anne Harmon of HMC Wellness, as well as Mudd Peer Advocates, the event encouraged students to initiate candid discussion about consent and consent culture practice. Discussion topics ranged from consent ethics and laws to methods of promoting a positive consent culture. While the topics were challenging, students actively voiced their arguments and listened to other ideas, which brought many new perspectives to consent and consent culture.

Attendees included members of HMC Wellness and Mudd Peer Advocates.

Students were very engaged in discussions, which introduced new topics and new ideas.
