We hope that the summer is off to a good start for you and that this email finds you well. We are writing with a brief update from the Task Force on Clinic and Corporate Partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Task Force\u2019s first full meeting was the week of May 28 and we have since been meeting weekly. This initial phase has been focused on getting organized, defining the questions that need to be addressed, assigning subcommittees and planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As described in President Nembhard’s May 24 email with the charge for the Task Force, a detailed, two-way communication plan will be released in July. At that point, the Task Force will share the specifics of how and when we will interface with the HMC community during the summer and throughout the fall semester. We are concurrently developing a broad survey to be released this summer, collecting other relevant data, planning for facilitated group discussions during the fall semester, and developing a process for providing regular updates to the community and frequent opportunities for stakeholders to give feedback throughout the work of the Task Force. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
