Recipients of Federal financial assistance funds are required to abide by the provisions of the Fly America Act. The Fly America Act requires that foreign air funded with Federal dollars be performed on U.S. flag air carriers, unless specific circumstances qualify as an exception. If, these regulations are not met, the foreign travel will not be reimbursable by a federally funded grant/contract.
