Faculty Web Registration Instructions

The 5-College students will be utilizing the student portal to web-register for courses. In addition, students will be submitting requests for PERMission to web-register in courses that require instructor approval. Instructors will be approving/denying student PERMission utilizing the faculty portal.

The 5-College faculty will utilize unprocessed PERMs for the purpose of waitlists when a course has reached a full/closed status. Faculty will approve/deny unprocessed PERMs on behalf of students wishing to web-register into courses. Students who receive approval to enroll must PRINT a copy of their approval and take it to the Office of the Registrar for processing if they are unable to register for courses on their Student Portal.

Granting Clearance Authorizations

The Office of the Registrar will be granting Clearance Authorizations on behalf of students preparing to web-register. Once the student has met with their advisers, identified the courses they will be taking the following semester and had their advisers sign their web-registration cards, they will take their web-registration cards to the Office of the Registrar for Clearance Authorization. They will be provided with a copy of their web-registration card at that time which they will use to independently web-register for courses during their web-registration appointment time.

The faculty web-registration website will include and/or may be updated with administrative support information periodically.
