Community Connections<\/h2><\/div>

In the 2024-25 academic year, Community Communications is focusing on opportunities to cultivate community, foster open conversations and share important information as together we live out our mission and shape the future of the College. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the 2023-24 academic year, Community Connections served as a series of events and opportunities for the Harvey Mudd community to meet with HMC President Harriet B. Nembhard and to come together to explore how the College can continue to accelerate its success in a rapidly changing world. These conversations served as a precursor to the start of a community-wide process to develop a new Strategic Plan<\/a> for Harvey Mudd College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our commitment to fostering meaningful connections within this community is palpable, and it\u2019s evident in every facet of our campus life. In our meetings and shared events, I appreciate everyone\u2019s<\/span> participation and your candid comments. The pulse of our campus is remarkably positive, filled with excitement, enthusiasm and curiosity. However, we\u2019re also attuned to the challenges, among them work overload, stress and managing priorities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

During my first 100 days, I invited the Harvey Mudd College community to meet with me to share thoughts on how the College can continue to accelerate its success in a rapidly changing world. My goal was to get to know you better and to create opportunities for you to get to know me as well. I did this through a combination of individual and group meetings as well as through The Mudd Minute videos, social media posts and an online suggestion form. I want to thank you all again for sharing your thoughts and suggestions with me and for helping me feel so welcome. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
