Dan \u201a\u00c4\u00fawas a fantastic person \u201a\u00c4\u00ee  kind, thoughtful, receptive \u201a\u00c4\u00ee and was wonderfully talented,\u201a\u00c4\u00f9 said Prof. Richard Haskell, who was Dan&#8217;s thesis advisor. Dan was fighting Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and was searching for both the cause and a viable treatment.
