Mathematics Faculty: Jina Kim
Jina Kim, PhD, Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics, research interests lie at the interface of probability and analysis, especially stochastic differential equations and mathematical finance. She completed her PhD at Iowa State University (dissertation title “Quasi-invariance for families of infinite-dimensional SDEs with degenerate noise”). Kim was most recently a recipient of the ISU Teaching Excellence Award during the 2021-22 academic year.
Kim received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mathematics from Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea. She has also spent time in the industry working in finance as a stock fund manager at an asset management company in 2020-21.
