Here you will find complete information related to HMC\u2019s accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wscuc.org\/\">WSCUC<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2022, Harvey Mudd&#8217;s accreditation by WSCUC was reaffirmed for a 10-year period, the maximum term possible. Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/institutional-research\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2022\/03\/CAL_220308_HMC_TPR.pdf\">Commission Action Letter (PDF)<\/a> conveying HMC&#8217;s accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The commission\u2019s decision was informed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/institutional-research\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2021\/12\/HMC-Team-Report-11.12.2021-Final.pdf\">the report of the review team<\/a>, that conducted the Accreditation Visit to Harvey Mudd College from October 12\u201315, 2021, and by HMC&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/institutional-research\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2021\/08\/Harvey-Mudd-College-Institutional-Report_WebVersion.pdf\">Institutional Report for Reaffirmation<\/a>, submitted to WSCUC on August 3 2021. Specialized accreditation information can be found below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABET<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department of Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abet.org\/\">ABET<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The program in chemistry meets the requirements of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.acs.org\/\">American Chemical Society<\/a>, making chemistry graduates eligible for membership in the society immediately upon graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HMC-Led Reviews<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To support accreditation efforts and sustain the excellence of its programs, Harvey Mudd College also engages in rigorous program reviews (on a seven-year cycle) of all academic departments, including assessment by outside peer-review teams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to HMC\u2019s accreditation website.
