Educational Effectiveness Review
This report served two purposes:
- To demonstrate that Harvey Mudd College evidences clear and appropriate educational objectives and design at the institutional and program level
- To demonstrate how the institution employs processes of review, including the collection and use of data, that ensure delivery of programs and learner accomplishments at a level of performance appropriate for the degree awarded.
The Educational Effectiveness Review (EER) report for Harvey Mudd College was submitted to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities on December 7, 2010. Below are links to the key documents that comprise HMC’s 2010 EER report.

Visiting Team Final Report
Harvey Mudd College received the final report (PDF) of the Educational Effectiveness Review visit on April 15, 2011.
WASC Commission Action Letter
Harvey Mudd College received the WASC Commission Action Letter (PDF) on July 5, 2011, which reaffirmed the findings and recommendations outlined in the visiting team’s report, and granted Harvey Mudd College full accreditation through 2021.
