Students, faculty and staff,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On behalf of the search committee for the vice president for student affairs search, I would like to provide an update on our progress and to share next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The committee met yesterday to review applications and to select the semifinalists. We are happy to report that we were all very impressed with the applicant pool. We received applications from a diverse group of highly experienced candidates from across the country, with experience at many different types and sizes of institutions. The committee members look forward to conducting \u201cairport interviews\u201d with our semi-finalists April 7-8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a reminder, we expect to hold on campus interviews on April 16-17, April 19-20 and April 23-24. The community forums\u2014which provide an opportunity for all members of the Harvey Mudd community to hear from the candidates\u2014are scheduled for 12:15 \u2013 1:15 p.m., on April 17, April 20, and April 24. We hope you will make plans to join us in the Green Room for these important sessions. We also plan to record the sessions so that we can share them with those of you who are unable to attend in person and so that you can provide us with your feedback on each of the finalist candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We look forward to sharing more information on the finalists for the position following our April 7-8 interviews, and we thank you in advance for your participation in this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
