Flores"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Associate Professor of Asian American Studies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alfred Peredo Flores is an associate professor of Asian American Studies at Harvey Mudd College. He is also an extended faculty member in the History Department at Claremont Graduate University and a core faculty member in the Intercollegiate Program of American Studies at the Claremont Colleges. His research and teaching focuses on diaspora, labor, indigeneity, migration, militarization, oral history, and settler colonialism in Oceania. Professor Flores is the author of the book, <em>Tip of the Spear: Land, Labor, and US Settler Militarism in Gu\u00e5han, 1944-1962 <\/em>(Cornell University Press, 2023).
