Hixon Center to host Open House and Research Symposium

The Hixon Center will be hosting an Open House and Research Symposium event on September 21st, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Hixon Center for Sustainable Environmental Design on the 1st floor of the Norman F. Sprague Center on the Harvey Mudd College campus.

The center invites students, faculty, and staff from across the Claremont Colleges, as well as community partners in Claremont and beyond, to attend. The event is intended to welcome the community to the Hixon Center’s new space in the Norman F. Sprague Center and to celebrate the accomplishments of the center since launching in September 2015.

During the event, the Center will also recognize and feature presentations from the awardees of the Rasmussen Summer Research Fund, the Hixon Summer Research Fellows, and our inaugural Hixon Center-Ecologic Institute summer interns. The second year of the Energize Colleges Program will also be officially launched on this evening. The event will conclude with a brief recognition ceremony for outstanding center supporters and campus sustainability champions.

We ask those who are interested and available to attend to RSVP by Monday, September 18th, 2017 at 5 p.m.
