When is the bomb set to go off? What does it look like?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take notes on everything said and be sure to notice any background noise, voice characteristics, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Report the threat immediately to Campus Safety at<\/strong> <a href=\"tel:+19096072000\" class=\"phone\">909.607.2000<\/a>\u00a0(ext. 72000).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Earthquake<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take cover under a desk or table, protecting as much of your body as possible, especially your head and neck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stay away from windows and objects that may fall.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not run outside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If outdoors stay in an open area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After shaking stops, evacuate to the nearest evacuation area, and report to the evacuation coordinator, provide support as designated by your department head, or other emergency personnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>See&nbsp;<a title=\"Emergency Preparedness\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/emergency-preparedness\/emergency-preparedness\/\">Emergency Preparedness<\/a>&nbsp;for&nbsp;additional information&nbsp;on&nbsp;preparing and responding to earthquakes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evacuation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calmly and quietly walk to the nearest exit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not use elevators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the instructions of evacuation coordinators, or other emergency personnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the&nbsp;<a title=\"Evacuation Plan and Map\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/emergency-preparedness\/emergency-procedures\/evacuation-plan-and-map\/\">Evacuation Plan and Map<\/a>&nbsp;for additional information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Activate the closest fire alarm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evacuate to the nearest evacuation assembly area and report to those around you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Call<\/strong> <a href=\"tel:+19096072000\" class=\"phone\">909.607.2000<\/a>\u00a0and report the location and nature of the fire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/0BzR_KHZNACM_YVhQcng1SDZSMDQ\/edit?usp=sharing\">fire procedures document (PDF)<\/a>&nbsp;for additional information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hazardous Materials<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evacuate the area of the spill or release.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notify those around you to evacuate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Call<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"tel:+19096072000\" class=\"phone\">909.607.2000<\/a>\u00a0and notify Campus Safety of the following: location of release, name of material, and time of release.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Medical<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Call<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"tel:+19096072000\" class=\"phone\">909.607.2000<\/a> to notify Campus Safety and report the nature of the illness or injury and the location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immediately notify proctor, supervisors, or facilities and maintenance <a href=\"tel:+19096218226\" class=\"phone\">909.621.8226<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide medical care as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shelter in Place\/Violent Intruder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take shelter in a room, office, or building that can be locked from the inside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid open areas that cannot be secured&nbsp;such as labs, auditoriums, or hallways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close window, turn off lights, silence phones, computers and radios.
